CUPE Local 593 is the support staff union for Mission School District #75

We proudly represent over 600 members working in the following classifications: Student Support (Education Assistant, Career Advisor, Youth Care Worker, Indigenous Liaison Worker, Strong Start, Lab Assistant, Kitchen Assistant), Clerical (Secretary, Administrative Assistant, Payroll, Purchasing), Labourers, Custodial, Transportation, Grounds, IT, Supervision Assistants and Trades.

Our members provide services that assist in providing a quality education for approximately 6000 students in 13 Elementary Schools, two Middle Schools, one Secondary School, Mission-on-Line Learning Centre, Fraserview Learning Centre, and Riverside College

CUPE Local 593 is located on the Traditional, Ancestral, Unsurrendered, and Shared territories of Stó:lō people, of Leq'á:mel, Semá:th, Máthxwi, Sq'éwlets and Qwó:ltl'el First Nations, stewards of this land since time immemorial.
